Sri Lanka in horror loss after Mire ton: 1st ODI (Galle)

Solomon Mire smashed his maiden one-day century to guide Zimbabwe to a historic six wicket win over Sri Lanka.

Zimbabwe stunned the hosts by completing a record chase of 317 runs, the first time a total of 300-plus chased down in Sri Lanka, with six wickets in hand.

Mire hit 112 in just 96 balls and was supported by Raza who scored 67* off just 51 balls while Waller made 40* off 29 balls.

Earlier, Sri Lanka suspiciously fumbled a good start to end up at 316-5. They looked like scoring over 350 after they got to 180-2 in the 30th over.

Zimbabwe 322 for 4 (Mire 112, Raza 67*, WIlliams 65, Gunaratne 2-45) beat Sri Lanka 316 for 5 (Mendis 86, Tharanga 79*, Gunathilaka 60, Chatara 2-49) by six wickets.
