Dhawan, Pujara whip Sri Lanka: 1st Test, Day 1 (Galle)
Shikhar Dhawan (190) and Cheteshwar Pujara (144 not out) took the Sri Lankan attack to the cleaners on the opening day of the series.
Dhawan was the aggressor at the top of the order, with his 190 runs coming off just 168 balls.
Dhawan and Pujara put on a 253-run stand with only paceman Nuwan Pradeep having any impact as the Indians posted 399/3.
