Shami rocks SL after India post 600: 1st Test, Day 2 (Galle)

Mohammad Shami took 2 quick wickets on his comeback to leave Sri Lanka on the back foot on 154 for five, still 446 behind.

To save the match, Sri Lanka have only 10 batsmen following Asela Gunaratne's series-ending thumb injury.

Starting the day at 399 for 3, overnight batsmen Pujara (153) and Ajinkya Rahane (57) got out early. Ashwin smashed 47 and helped India post 600.

Sri Lanka 154 for 5 (Tharanga 64, Mathews 54*, Shami 2-30) trail India 600 (Dhawan 190, Pujara 153, Rahane 57, Pandya 50, Pradeep 6-132) by 446 runs.
