Latham, Taylor stun India in record chase: 1st ODI (Mumbai)

Tom Latham and Ross Taylor put on 200 runs to lead New Zealand to an upset seven wicket victory over India.

Latham smashed an unbeaten 103 after keeping wickets in searing heat. Taylor hit 95 in a record-breaking stand with Latham as the tourists chased down India's 280-8 with an over to spare.

Earlier, skipper Virat Kohli made good use of a dropped catch to smash 121 to power India to an imposing total on a sluggish pitch.

New Zealand 284 for 4 (Latham 103*, Taylor 95) beat India 280 for 8 (Kohli 121, Boult 4-35) by 6 wickets.
