Moeen and Leach rout SL by 211 runs: 1st Test, Day 4 (Galle)

Spinners Moeen Ali and Jack Leach spun a web around Sri Lanka as England completed a crushing 211-run victory end their 13-match winless streak away from home.

Angelo Mathews made 53 but the Sri Lanka batsmen put up little resistance as the English spinners claimed 16 wickets in the match.

Moeen took 4-71 and Leach 3-60 as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 250 to hand England their first ever win in Galle.

England 342 (Foakes 107, Dilruwan 5-75) and 322 for 6 dec (Jennings 146*, Stokes 62) beat Sri Lanka 203 (Mathews 52, Moeen 4-66) and 250 (Mathews 53, Moeen 4-71) by 211 runs.
