Kuldeep, Bumrah restrict Aussies before rain: 2nd T20 (MCG)

Spinner Kuldeep Yadav and seamer Jasprit Bumrah bowled in tandem to restrict Australia to 132-7 before the match was called off due to rain.

Australia stuttered to 132-7 with one over left when the driving rain caused the stoppage. Ben McDermott top-scored with 32 not out and Andrew Tye made an unbeaten 16 to boost the Aussie score at the end after a top order collapse had them at 41-4.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 2-20 but it was Kuldeep (1-23) and Bumrah (1-20) who applied the brakes.

Australia 7 for 132 (Maxwell 19, McDermott 32*, Bhuvneshwar 2-20) v India. Match abandoned.
