Sizzling Starc delivers Sri Lankan whitewash: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Canberra)

Mitchell Starc took 10 wickets and Pat Cummins was named as man of the series as Australia completed a crushing 2-0 series win over Sri Lanka , winning by 366 runs.

Starc claimed his second five-wicket haul (5-46) and took 10-100 for the match as Sri Lanka failed to construct any meaningful partnerships. Kusal Mendis and Chamika Karunaratne provided some resistance with a partnership of 46 for the seventh wicket but the visitors were knocked over for 149.

Australia 5 for 534 dec (Burns 180, Head 161, Patterson 114*) and 3 for 196 dec (Khawaja 101*, Head 59*) beat Sri Lanka 215 (Karunaratne 59, Starc 5-54) and 149 (Starc 5-46) by 366 runs.
