Dropped like Marsh brothers: Dickwella sledges struggling Khawaja (Canberra)

Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella got stuck into the out of form Usman Khawaja.

Khawaja was given a series of well timed verbals from Dickwella behind the stumps. "I really want you to get some runs here. I don't want you to feel bad ... after that series (against India) watching your team play on TV," he said. "This is his last innings boys. Like (the) Marsh brothers. Remember (the) Marsh brothers?"

Khawaja had the last laugh, ending his rough Australian summer on a high note with a stunning 101 not out in the second innings to save his Ashes tour spot.

2nd Test, Day 3, Feb 2019.
