Coulter-Nile, Starc deliver comeback win over Windies: 2019 WC #10 (Trent Bridge)
Mitch Starc took 5-46 as Australia recovered from a poor start to beat West Indies by 15 runs in a thrilling clash.
Australia were struggling at 79-5. Steve Smith (73) and a blast from tailender Nathan Coulter-Nile (92) lifted Australia to 288 all out.
In reply, Chris Gayle threatened briefly in his 21 from 17 balls. Shai Hope struck 68 but Starc proved too much as the Windies ended 15 runs short.
Australia 288 (Coulter Nile 92, Smith 73, Brathwaite 3-67) beat West Indies 273 for 9 (Hope 68, Holder 51, Starc 5-46) by 15 runs.
