All round Shakib spins out Afghanistan: 2019 WC #31 (Southampton)

Shakib Al Hasan shone with both the bat and ball as Bangladesh kept alive a slim hope of a World Cup semi-final berth when they beat Afghanistan by 62 runs.

Shakib hit a fifty and then took 5-29 with his left arm spin to dominate Afghanistan as they were bowled out for 200.

Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim anchored the Bangladesh innings with 83 from 87 balls as they posted 262 from their 50 overs.

Bangladesh 262 for 7 (Mushfiqur 83, Shakib 51, Mujeeb 3-39) beat Afghanistan 200 all out (Shinwari 49*, Naib 47, Shakib 5-29) by 62 runs.
