Record Kohli ton downs Windies: 2nd ODI (Trinidad)

Skipper Virat Kohli was the star as India beat West Indies comfortably by 59 runs (D/L method) to win the second ODI.

Kohli won the toss and smashed 120 off 125 deliveries, with 14 fours and four sixes. His 42nd ODI hundred pushed India to 279-7. Kohli went past Sourav Ganguly's tally of 11,363 runs in this innings to take eighth position in the all time list.

West Indies were 179-4 in the 35th over but then crashed to 210 all out with Bhuvneshwar Kumar (4-31) causing the collapse.

India 279 for 7 (Kohli 120, Iyer 71, Brathwaite 3-53) beat West Indies 210 (Lewis 65, Pooran 42, Bhuvneshwar 4-31) by 59 runs (DLS method).
