Jamieson five knocks over India again: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Christchurch)

Kyle Jamieson today claimed 5-45 in his second Test as the Black Caps dismissed India for 242, before reaching stumps at 63-0 to wrestle control.

Jamieson, who started his Test career with a haul of 4 wickets against India in the prior Test, triggered a collapse after India got to 194-4 just prior to tea.

Pujara (54) threw away his wicket after a 140 balls fight with a wild hook shot. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja – both made the mistake of attacking Jamieson to fall quickly.

Openers Tom Latham and Tom Blundell posted 63-0 in the 23 overs available before stumps.

New Zealand 63 for 0 trail India 242 (Vihari 55, Shaw 54, Pujara 54, Jamieson 5-45) by 179 runs.
