Axar demolishes England in crushing win: 3rd Test (Ahmedabad)

Newcomer Axar Patel was the hero with the ball as the 3rd Test finished inside two days with India comprehensively outplaying England by 10 wickets under lights.

India dismissed England under 120 in both innings.

After bagging a maiden five-wicket-haul on his Test debut at Chennai, Axar was unplayable and finished with 11 wickets in the match – 6/38 in the first innings and 5/32 in the second – as India bundled out England for 112 and 81 in the two innings.

India lead the 4 match series 2-1.

India 145 (Rohit 66, Root 5-8) and 49 for 0 (Rohit 25*) beat England 112 (Crawley 53, Patel 6-38) and 81 (Patel 5-32) by 10 wickets.
