Roach, Seales stun Pakistan in last wicket win: 1st Test, Day 4 (Kingston)

Kemar Roach’s 30 not out off 52 balls guided West Indies to a thrilling one-wicket win over Pakistan in a gripping first Test in Kingston.

Last man Jayden Seales made just two runs off 13 deliveries but managed to hold on with Roach as West Indies reached 168 for nine to win by one wicket.

Earlier, Pakistan posted 217 in 70.3 overs in the first innings and then 203 in 83.4 overs in their second innings. West Indies had scores of 253 in their first innings and 168 for nine.

Pakistan’s final five wickets fell for 31 runs with teenage paceman Seales claiming five for 55 in his second Test outing.

West Indies 253 (Brathwaite 97, Holder 58, Afridi 4-59) and 168 for 9 (Blackwood 55, Roach 30*, Afridi 4-50) beat Pakistan 217 (Fawad 56, Holder 3-26, Seales 3-70) and 203 (Azam 55, Seales 5-55, Roach 3-30) by one wicket.
