Shamar Joseph skittles Aussies for upset 8 run win: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Gabba)

An injured Shamar Joseph took 7-68 as the West Indies secured its first Test win in Australia in 27 years in a thrilling day-night match.

Chasing 216 to seal a 2-0 series victory, the hosts were cruising at 113-2 in the first session of the fourth day when Joseph struck.

Steve Smith was left stranded on 91 not out off 146 balls as Joseph tore through the Australians. Joseph was battling a toe injury after being struck the previous day by a Mitch Starc yorker whilst batting.

West Indies 311 and 193 beat Australia 289 for 9 dec and 207 (Smith 91*, Green 42, S Joseph 7-68) by 8 runs.
