Gurbaz shines as Afghans rout South Africa: 2nd ODI (Sharjah)

Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz hit a superb century as Afghanistan thrashed South Africa by 177 runs in the 2nd ODI to win the series.

Gurbaz (105) and Omarzai (86 not out) provided the firepower as Afghanistan posted a daunting 311-4.

Leg spinner Rashid Khan marked his 26th birthday by taking five wickets as South Africa crumbled to 134.

Afghanistan 311 for 4 (Gurbaz 105, Omarzai 86*, Rahmat 50) beat South Africa 134 (Bavuma 38, Rashid 5-19, Kharote 4-26) by 177 runs.
