Harry Brook smashes rapid, record breaking triple century (Multan)

Harry Brook became the sixth Englishman to score a triple century, in the 1st Test at Multan. His rapid triple century was the second-fastest of all time, reached in 310 deliveries.

Brook scored England’s first triple century since Graham Gooch in 1990 as they declared after monstering 823 for seven. Brook was involved in a record stand of 454 for the 4th wicket with Joe Root.

Brook’s 317 was the highest in any Test since David Warner’s 335 not out against Pakistan in Adelaide in November 2019.
