Sajid destroys England after Duckett century: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Multan)

Spinner Sajid Khan (4-86) got Pakistan back in the series as he grabbed the all-important wickets of centurion Ben Duckett, Harry Brook and Joe Root to trigger a spectacular collapse by England late on Day 2 at Multan.

England were making excellent progress at 211-2 on the back of opener Ben Duckett’s superb century. Sajid and co then spun a web around the English batsmen as they lost 4 quick wickets to limp to stumps at 239-6.

Earlier, Pakistan’s tail took them to 366 before Jack Leach (4-114) ended their innings.

England 239 for 6 (Duckett 114, Root 34, Sajid 4-86) trail Pakistan 366 (Ghulam 118, Ayub 77, Leach 4-114) by 127 runs.
