India on top as Sundar destroys New Zealand: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Pune)

Off spinner Washington Sundar took his career best Test figures to help India bundle out New Zealand for 259 in the first innings of the second Test at Pune.

Conway (74) and Ravindra (65) bolstered NZ who were sitting pretty at 197-3 at one stage. The Tamil Nadu cricketer ended New Zealand’s first innings after removing Santner in the 80th over as he finished with 7-59. NZ lost their last 7 wickets for just 62.

In reply, Rohit Sharma was bowled by Southee as India finished on 16-1.
