Bumrah destroys South Africa for record quick win: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Cape Town)

The entire Test match lasted just 1.5 days and 642 balls as India beat South Africa by seven wickets on day 2 at Newlands.

This was the shortest Test in history which delivered a result.

Chasing a target of 79 to win, India got to 80-3.

Earlier, South Africa were bowled out for 55 on day one and, despite Aiden Markram's superb 106, they were all out again for 176 by the end of the second morning.

India's win levelled the series 1-1.

India 153 (Kohli 46, Rohit 39, Ngidi 3-30, Rabada 3-38, Burger 3-42) and 80 for 3 (Jaiswal 28, Jansen 1-15) beat South Africa 55 (Verreynne 15, Siraj 6-15) and 176 (Markram 106, Bumrah 6-61) by seven wickets.
