Tearaway fast bowler
Jake Ball was born on 14 March 1991 in Mansfield. He is a right arm paceman who showed much promise from his younger days which led to his first class debut for Nottnghamshire in 2011. After taking 39 County wickets, he was selected for the young England development squad.
When Jimmy Anderson was injured, Ball was called up for his international debut against Pakistan in the 1st Test at Lords in 2016. He took 1-51 in the first innings.
