Atal hammers Zimbabwe in crushing win: 2nd ODI (Harare)

Opener Atal and Abdul Malik out on a 191-run stand for the opening wicket as Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe by 232 runs in the 2nd ODI at Harare Sports Club.

Sediqullah Atal registered his maiden ODI century (104) to help Afghanistan post a big total of 286.

In reply, Zimbabwe were shot out for just 54 in 17.5 overs. The young rising spinner Allah Ghazanfar and pacer Naveed Zadran picked three wickets each.

Afghanistan 286 for 6 (Atal 104, Malik 84, Nyamhuri 3-53) beat Zimbabwe 54 (Ghazanfar 3-9, Naveed 3-13) by 232 runs.
