Afghanis pip Zim for Super 10 spot: 2016 WT20 No 9 AFG v ZIM (Nagpur)

Mohammad Nabi struck 52 in 32 balls as Afghanistan eliminated Zimbabwe in their final Group B qualifying contest to clinch the Super 10 spot at stake in the next round.

In a do-or-die match, the Afghans outplayed Zimbabwe in all departments by first scoring a challenging 186/6 in 20 overs and then bowling out opposition for 127 in 19.4 overs.

Afghanistan 186 for 6 (Nabi 52, Shenwari 43, Panyangara 3-32) beat Zimbabwe 127 (Rashid 3-11, Hamid 2-11) by 59 runs.
