Afghanistan stun hosts in historic win: 2014 Asia Cup (Fatullah)

Minnows Afghanistan upset Bangladesh by 32 runs - their first victory from four matches against a Test-playing side.

Afghanistan posted an impressive 254-6 with Asghar Stanikzai scoring a career-best unbeaten 90 and Samiullah Shinwari making 81. In reply, Bangladesh rarely looked likely to chase that down after seeing both openers out with only one run on the board, and then later slumping from 161-4 to 165-8.

Afghanistan 254 for 6 (Stanikzai 90*, Shenwari 81) beat Bangladesh 222 (Mominul 50, Nabi 3-44, Hassan 2-26) by 32 runs.
