Masood leads Pakistan fightback against South Africa: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Cape Town)

Skipper Shan Masood struck a fine century and combined with Babar Azam to share an opening partnership of 205 as Pakistan fought back on the third day against South Africa at Newlands.

Pakistan wer 213-1 in their second innings, but still trail South Africa by 208 after they were forced to follow-on having been bowled out for 194.

Masood opening the batting made 102 not out, his sixth Test century, and Babar scored 81, his third successive half-century in the series.

Pakistan 194 (Babar 58, Rabada 3-55, Maharaj 2-14) and 213 for 1 (f/o) (Masood 102*, Babar 81) trail South Africa 615 by 208 runs.
