Shaheen wrecks South Africa, Pakistan clinch series: 2nd ODI (Cape Town)

Paceman Shaheen Afridi routed South Africa's batting lineup, claiming impressive figures of 4/47 as Pakistan won by 82 runs in the second ODI at Newlands.

Heinrich Klaasen provided the only resistance smashing 97 from 74 balls but was the last man out as South Africa were dismissed for 248 in 43.1 overs.

Earlier in the day, a 113-run partnership between Babar and Rizwan, followed by a fiery knock from Ghulam helped Pakistan to post 329 runs in 49.5 overs.

Pakistan won the 3 ODI series 2-0.

Pakistan 329 all out (Rizwan 80, Babar 73, Maphaka 4-72) beat South Africa 247 all out (Klaasen 97, Shaheen 4-47, Naseem 3-37) by 82 runs.
