Haris, Babar shine as Pakistan knockout South Africa: 2019 WC #30 (Lords)

A late flourish by Haris Sohail helped swell Pakistan’s total as No 4 ranked South Africa were knocked out the World Cup.

After winning the toss, Sohail's blistering 89 from 59 balls and a sedate 69 from Babar Azam saw Pakistan make 308-7.

Despite 63 from captain Faf du Plessis, South Africa never got up with the required rate and finished on 259-9.

Pakistan 308 for 7 (Haris 89, Babar 69, Tahir 2-41) beat South Africa 259 for 9 (du Plessis 63, Wahab 3-46, Shadab 3-50) by 49 runs.
