Its a joke! Waugh slams baffling go-slow Lankan batting tactics (SSC)

Mark Waugh labelled the Sri Lankan batting as a "joke" following a dismal morning session by the hosts where they crawled to 4 for 45 off 19 overs before being bowled out.

Angelo Mathews achieved the milestone of a maiden test century with a rare show of aggression, stroking the 265th delivery of his innings through covers for four. Mathews knock was particularly hard to fathom given Sri Lanka was the team that needed to win the match as it meandered through the morning session without any intent.
