Rizwan, Salman centuries snatch win in high scoring thrilller: 3rd Tri ODI (Karachi)

Salman Agha and Mohammad Rizwan both smashed centuries as Pakistan completed their highest successful run-chase in ODis with a narrow six-wicket win over South Africa in Karachi.

Rookie Matthew Breetzke’s 83 had set up an imposing South Africa total of 352-5. Heinrich Klaasen struck 87 and skipper Temba Bavuma hit 82.

In reply, Pakistan were boosted by a magnificent 260-run fourth-wicket stand between Agha (134), who scored his maiden ODI ton, and Mohammad Rizwan (122no). Pakistan secured victory with six balls to spare and will meet NZ in the final.

Pakistan 355 for 4 (Salman 134, Rizwan 122*, Fakhar 41, Mulder 2-79) beat South Africa 352 for 5 (Klaasen 87, Breetzke 83, Bavuma 82, Verreynne 44*, Afridi 2-66) by six wickets.
