1946 to 2023: Left arm spinning maestro Bedi’s legacy

Bishan Bedi, former captain of India and one of the greatest spin bowlers, died aged 77.

A slow left-armer with a classical action, Bedi played in 67 Tests between 1967 and 1979, claiming 266 wickets at an average of 28.71.

At the time of his retirement, he was India's leading wicket-taker.

Left arm spinner Bedi is a name etched in the history books of cricket, as one of the greatest bowlers to ever grace the sport.
