Carty blasts Ireland, Windies level series: 3rd ODI (Dublin)

Opener Keacy Carty smashed 170 as Ireland were defeated by the West Indies in Dublin as their series finished in a 1-1 draw.

Carty's 170 came from just 142 balls – the joint-sixth highest score in ODIs for the West Indies — as the visitors posted an imposing 385-7. Skipper Shai Hope scored 75 off 75 balls, and a maiden international half-century from Justin Greaves (50) helped the Windies.

In reply, Ireland struggled for any kind of impetus to their innings. They ended at 165 with Seales taking 3-26.

West Indies 385 for 7 (Carty 170, Hope 75, Greaves 50, McCarthy 3-100) beat Ireland 165 (Carmichael 48, Seales 3-26) by 197 runs (via DLS method).
