Smith, Duckett power England past Windies for double whitewash : 3rd T20 (Southampton)

Jamie Smith struck his maiden T20 fifty as England blasted their way to a record score at home soil to wrap up a 3-0 series clean sweep with a 37-run win over West Indies at the Rose Bowl.

Ben Duckett hit 84 in 46 balls and shared a 120-run stand with fellow opener Jamie Smith, who made a 26-ball 60, as England posted 248-3.

In reply, Rovman Powell top-scored with an unbeaten 79 off 45 balls, and captain Shai Hope made a 27-ball 45 as the Windies fell short by 37 runs.

Last week England defeated West Indies 3-0 in the ODI series to add to this T20 whitewash.

England 248 for 3 (Duckett 84, Smith 60) beat West Indies 211 for 8 (Powell 79*, Hope 45, Wood 3-31) by 37 runs.
