Mirza, Faheem destroy Bangladesh for consolation win: 3rd T20 (Mirpur)

Pakistan finished the T20 series with a commanding 74‑run victory, but it came too late—Bangladesh had already sealed the series 2–1 with wins in the first two matches.

Bangladesh struggled with the bat, being dismissed for just 104 in 16.4 overs, as Salman Mirza ripped through the top order with 3 for 19. Faheem took 2-13.

Earlier, Sahibzada Farhan’s aggressive 63 off 41 balls, studded with 6 fours and 5 Sixers, along with a late flourish from Mohammad Nawaz (33 off 17), powered Pakistan to 178/7.

It was a fitting consolation win for Pakistan but did little to dampen Bangladesh’s historic 2-1 series triumph.

Pakistan 178 for 7 (Farhan 63, Hasan Nawaz 33, Taskin 3-38) beat Bangladesh 104 (Saifuddin 35*, Mirza 3-19, Nawaz 2-4) by 74 runs.
