Comeback Cox inspires England series win over Ireland: 3rd T20 (Dublin)

Jordan Cox grasped his chance as England sealed a 2–0 series victory over Ireland with a six-wicket win in the third T20I at Malahide.

Batting first, Ireland managed 154 for 8 as Gareth Delany’s unbeaten 48 and Ross Adair’s quick 33 gave the hosts a competitive total, but Adil Rashid’s 3 for 29 kept their scoring in check.

England replied confidently, with Cox smashing a comeback fifty of 55 from 35 balls and Tom Banton anchoring the chase with an unbeaten 37. The visitors reached the target in 17.1 overs with five balls to spare, completing a dominant finish to the series.

England 155 for 4 (Cox 55, Banton 37*) beat Ireland 154 for 8 (Delany 48*, R Adair 33, Rashid 3-29) by six wickets.
