Farhan inspires Pakistan’s crushing win over SL: Tri T20 No 3 (Rawalpindi)

Sahibzada Farhan struck an unbeaten 80 as Pakistan easily defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets at Rawalpindi.

Sri Lanka, batting first, struggled to build partnerships and managed just 128/7 in their 20 overs, with Janith Liyanage top‑scoring with 41 not out. Pakistan’s spin spearhead Mohammad Nawaz played a key role, taking three crucial wickets and keeping the total manageable.

In reply, Pakistan chased down the target comfortably in 15.3 overs, thanks to an unbeaten 80 from Farhan, who anchored the innings with aggressive strokeplay.

The win kept Pakistan unbeaten in the series and highlighted Sri Lanka’s ongoing struggles in the tournament.

Pakistan 131 for 3 (Farhan 80*, Chameera 2-29, Shanaka 1-14) beat Sri Lanka 128 for 7 (Liyanage 41*, Nawaz 3-16, Mirza 1-26) by seven wickets.
