Tariq hat trick catapults Pakistan into final: Tri T20 No 4 (Rawalpindi)

Usman Tariq took a hat trick as Pakistan waltzed into the final of the 2025 T20I Tri-Series with a commanding 69-run win over Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi.

After winning the toss and batting first, the hosts posted a strong 195/5, built on a polished 74 from Babar Azam and a fluent 63 from Sahibzada Farhan.

Zimbabwe never came to grips with the chase, slipping early and failing to recover against disciplined Pakistani bowling.

Off-spinner Tariq delivered the decisive spell, taking 4 for 18 including a dramatic hat-trick that ripped through the middle order. Bowled out for 126 in 19 overs, Zimbabwe were comprehensively outplayed as Pakistan sealed their spot in the series decider.

Pakistan 195 for 5 (Babar 74, Farhan 63, Raza 2-39) beat Zimbabwe 126 all out (Burl 67*, Usman Tariq 4-18, Nawaz 2-21) by 69 runs.
