Windies fightback after Conway double ton: 3rd Test, Day 2 (Mt Maunganui

New Zealand dominated Day 2 of the third Test against the West Indies at Mount Maunganui after piling on a massive first-innings total of 575/8 declared, built around a magnificent double century from Devon Conway, well supported by Tom Latham’s 137 and Rachin Ravindra’s unbeaten 72.

In response, the West Indies showed some resistance late in the day as openers Brandon King and John Campbell remained unbeaten on 110/0 at stumps, but they still trail by a daunting 465 runs, leaving New Zealand firmly in control heading into Day 3.

West Indies 110 for 0 (King 55*, Campbell 45*) trail New Zealand 575 for 8 dec (Conway 227, Latham 137, Ravindra 72*, Greaves 2-83) by 465 runs.
