Seifert, Santner dominate India as NZ cruise to win: 4th T20 (Visakapatnam)

New Zealand produced a dominant display to defeat India by 50 runs in the 4th T20I at Visakhapatnam.

Batting first, the visitors piled up an imposing 215/7, led by Tim Seifert’s fluent 62 off 36 balls and an aggressive 44 from Devon Conway at the top. Valuable late-order contributions ensured New Zealand maintained the scoring rate throughout the innings, leaving India with a daunting chase.

India’s reply faltered despite a sensational counter-attack from Shivam Dube, who smashed 65 off just 23 deliveries, and support from Rinku Singh, who made 39. Wickets kept falling at the other end, preventing any sustained partnership, and India were eventually bowled out for 165 in 18.4 overs.

India lead the series 3-1.

New Zealand 215 for 7 (Seifert 62, Conway 44, Arshdeep 2-33, Kuldeep 2-39) beat India 165 (Dube 65, Rinku 39, Santner 3-26, Duffy 2-33) by 50 runs.
