Tanzid century powers Bangladesh win over Pakistan: 3rd ODi (Dhaka)

Tanzid Hasan cracked a superb century as Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 11 runs to take the series in Dhaka.

Bangladesh posted 290/5 in 50 overs, built around a superb 107 from Tanzid Hasan and 48 from Towhid Hridoy. Pakistan’s bowlers fought back in the middle overs, but Bangladesh still finished with a strong total close to 300.

Pakistan mounted a strong chase and reached 279 all out in 50 overs, led by a brilliant 106 from Salman Ali Agha. However, Bangladesh’s bowlers held their nerve at the death, with Taskin Ahmed taking 4 wickets, as Bangladesh secured an 11-run victory to win the ODI series 2–1.

Bangladesh 290 for 5 (Tanzid 107, Hridoy 48*, Rauf 3-52) beat Pakistan 279 (Agha 106, Masood 38, Taskin 4-49) by 11 runs.
