Bangladesh seal finals berth in upset: 2016 Asia Cup BAN v PAK (Mirpur)

Chasing 130 to win, Soumya Sarkar (48) and Mahmudullah (22*) made major contributions as Bangladesh upset Pakistan by five wickets to power them into the final against India. The clincher was Sami's 19th over where he conceded a massive 15 runs including a free hit after overstepping for a no ball.

Earlier, Pakistan opted to bat first but simple batsmen errors led to them being four down on 28 in the ninth over. Sarfraz Ahmed (58) and Shoaib Malik (41) added 70 runs in the partnership for the fifth wicket as Al-Amin Hossain ended with 3-25.

Bangladesh 131 for 5 (Soumya 48, Mahmudullah 22*, Amir 2-26) beat Pakistan 129 for 7 (Sarfraz 58*, Al-Amin 3-25) by five wickets.
