India get away to a rapid start: 2nd Test, Day 1 Part 1 of 2 (Mohali)

Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag got India off to a quick start on an excellent batting pitch to rack up 104-1 at lunch.

After MS Dhoni took up the captaincy in place of an injured Kumble ands decided to bat first Australia compounded the issue by bowling eratically during the first session. The only casualty was Sehwag who was unlucky to tickle one down the legside. Gambhir thrashed a 4 and a 6 in the last over before lunch to bring up his fifty.
