Aussies hold nerve in tense win: 2nd ODI (Hobart)

Opener Shaun Marsh smashed 78 as Australia beat South Africa by 5 runs to level the one day international series at 1-1.

Ricky Ponting 64 was the only other batsman to shine as the Aussies fell away from 150-1 to make a below par 249-9 from their 50 overs. Paceman Makhaya Ntini took 3-39.

In reply, Jacques Kallis 72 and AB de Villiers 44 took South Africa to 145-2 but a slump left them needing 17 from the last over.
