Proteas go to No 1 after crushing Aussies: 5th ODI (Perth)

South Africa playing a virtual second string side after resting their big guns wrapped up the oneday series 41 with a comfortable 39run triumph.

They now are the No 1 ranked ODI team after toppling the Aussies. Hashim Amla 97 and AB De Villiers 60 combined well to set a platform. J P Duminy smashed 60 in 42 balls to take his team to 288-6.

Leftarm paceman Lonwabo Tsotsobe (4-50) made a dream debut as Australia were first restricted and then bowled out for 249.
