Hit in face, almost loses eye

West Australian Warriors Allrounder David Bandy suffered a fractured eye socket and broken nose after he was hit flush in the face by a Dirk Nannes lifter in the opening over of a state one day match WA vs Victoria at the MCG. He says that he almost lost his eye but is now ready to start his rehabilitation to get back on to the field. Jan 2009.
