Calm Elliot settles outcome as Kiwis go 2-0 up: 2nd ODI (MCG)

Australia's season of misery fell to new depths as New Zealand handed the home side a sixwicket thrashing to win with 7 balls remaining its 5th straight ODI loss.

Brendon McCullum 43 from 75 balls gave the visitors a solid platform and Grant Elliott 61 not out from 75 balls closed out the win in a canter.

Earlier a slow batting performance by Michael Clarke 98 and Michael Hussey 75 set a under par score of 225-5.
