Lankans cruise to win after Mendis special: ICC T20 WC R1 SRL v ZIM (Hambantota)
Sri Lanka's hosting of the ICC T20 World Cup got off to a superb start with Jeevan and Ajantha Mendis in starring roles.
Spinner Ajantha Mendis celebrated his return to international cricket with a record-breaking haul (6-8) in Sri Lanka's 82-run triumph over Zimbabwe. Jeevan Mendis scored 43 not out in 30 balls and then took 3-24 to cap a great all-round performance.
