SL whitewash Windies despite Samuels ton: 3rd ODI (Pallekele)

Opener Kusal Perera top-scored with a dashing 50 off 47 balls and captain Angelo Mathews made 27 not out as Sri Lanka reached 180 for five in the 33rd over to easily win the 3rd ODI on D/L method and take the series 3-0.

Earlier, Marlon Samuels smashed an unbeaten 110 to guide the West Indies to 206-9 in the rain-curtailed match.

Sri Lanka 180 for 5 in 32.5 overs (Perera 50, Holder 2-44) beat West Indies 206 for 9 in 36 overs (Samuels 110*, Chameera 2-39, Lakmal 2-40) by 19 runs (D/L method).
