Mahala chalks up tons against all test teams (Karachi)
Skipper Mahela Jayawardene scored an unbeaten 136 and Samaraweera raced to 130 not out 155 balls as the Sri Lankans closed the day on 406-3.
It was Jayawardene's 25th Test century and on his way to three figures he passed 8000 Test runs.
This was also his first test ton against Pakistan a feat which means that he has now scored test tons against all test playing nations.
