Sanath tears Aussie attack, piles on record: VB Series (2006), SCG
After being intitillay not selected for the tour, Sanath Jayasuriya is a late inclusion into the Sri Lankan squad. He flies in just prior to the start of this ODI and pummels the Aussies for yet another century in Sydney as the Lankans take apart the Aussies.
Jayasuriya gets 114 in 96 balls and puts on 163 with Sangakkara (78) in the Lankan score of 309-7.
Australia is bowled out for 258.
