Pakistan shot out for 299, Kaneria strikes back: 3rd Test, Day 2 (SSC) - Part 1 of 2

After losing 6 wickets for 14 runs to fold up tamely for 299 Pakistan hit back to have Sri Lanka bowled out for 233. Thilan Thushara has his career best figures of 5 for 83. Danesh Kaneria struck back with 562 and Pakistan emerged with a 66 run first innings lead as only Jayawardene 79 and Dilshan 44 offered any resistance. Pakistan were 161 at the close after Khurram fell in the penultimate ball of the day. Day 2 3rd Test SSC. July 2009.
